First Videos

PLEASE excuse my annoying high pitched "video" voice. A great gift I received for Christmas was a Flip Mino. It is a little bitty cutiest camcorder you have ever seen. Anyway, I have been messing with it and wanted to try posting videos from it. Here are some of my first attempts.

Caroline with her fancy swimming certificate and ribbon:) Let's be real, she didn't care that she had been promoted to a guppy, all she cared about was that sucker! Thanks to Nini andPapa for the swimming lessons.

Susanna enjoying her gymboree class.

Please pray in the morning

Tomorrow, Thursday, Grace our sweet little friend is getting her trach taken out. Remember previous posts about her?? I am sure you do and of course her sweet picture has been on the sidebar of the blog for some time now. Anyway, Please pray that the surgery goes well and for continued improvement in Grace's speech! Bridget, her mom, put up a recent post about the end of the trach.... A huge praise is that they qualified for a great program, providing continued therapy for Grace. Normally there is a 7 year wait to get approved for this program, but they got approved in 4 months. How good is our God?!
Please say a big prayer for all for all of them!! Thank you friends!

As I have thought about Grace today, this verse came to my mind over and over.
Psalm 121
1 I lift up my eyes to the hills— where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.
3 He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber;
4 indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The LORD watches over you— the LORD is your shade at your right hand;
6 the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.
7 The LORD will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life;
8 the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

Amen!

important business

I know I know, probably tired of this type of post. I should just download my pictures of the girls and stop posting about this stuff. But, I can't say I am not sad to see that this is one of the first things he decided to tackle his first week in office. I could rant and rave but I will stop now.

a big day

well in the midst of swimming, standing, nose wiping, and so on.... A very big event happened that I don't feel I can go with out mentioning. A new President for our wonderful USA. I came across this post on another blog and I really, really agree with it. You may not, but that is ok. Here in Landry Land we are praying for our America and our new President.
Go HERE to read this great post.

God Bless the USA.

swimming and standing (kind of)

Look what I found this little girl doing this week. C insisted I get this toy out of the garage for Susanna. I am glad I listened, she immediately figured out how to do this by herself after I brought it in! Maybe she was showing off because her sister has been going to swimming lessons and learning so much, she didn't want to be left behind! Swimming pictures coming soon! Caroline is turning into a little fish.

very late Christmas post

SJ enjoying crawling around with the presents.
CJ received her drill from Santa.

A tuckered out little girl. This was right before we hit the road to Josh's parents.

A few of our pictures from Christmas at our house with my mom. I can't believe we did not take one picture of our Christmas at Josh's parents.

this blog has been interrupted by a 3 year old

Oh man. Our family is doing well, besides the constant fit throwing by a certain 3 year old. I won't name names. I am turning the computer off and helping her (& the rest of us) get through this "fun" time. Be still my heart about turning the computer off. I will be back soon, I hope. Send a search party if I am gone too long! :) I am being a bit dramatic, it must be rubbing off from the unnamed 3 year old!
