Daddy's Girl, take 2

Susanna has definently been a mommy's girl for a good 13 months, well we stopped nursing and she decided that her daddy is pretty special too. She is so cute with him and always rests her head on his shoulder and pats his back, something she never does with me. I miss my momma's girl, but it melts my heart to see them together. And a bonus is Miss Caroline has decided that she wants her mommy to do stuff for her again when daddy is around. Love these girls so much.

Landry Fun

The end of July we spent the weekend with Josh's family at Lost Pines. We had a great time, I did not get as many pictures as I would have liked, but these turned out cute! It is hard taking pictures when you are on the lazy river or playing in the sand or chasing down a one year old...!
Some of our favorite things about the trip: movie nights, smores after dinner(Josh is an expert marshmallow roaster), the lazy river, sand, swimming, hanging out with family....... We had a great time! Thanks Nini and Papa!

A bike ride with Grandma

There is not a better way to start your morning!

Me thinks that the moment my legs begin to move, my thoughts begin to flow. ~Henry David Thoreau

What is she thinking?
So many rocks, so little time. Posing for mom.

An she is OFF!
Susanna loved my Grandma's driveway, because as you can see it is all pebbles. She practiced her walking for hours out there. She would take a break and listen/watch birds/pose for a picture then she would take off for another adventure.

sum, sum summertime!

The girls trying to beat this heat. This was our first week back from Wyoming and we were in all kinds of detox. We missed Bebe, Grandma, Aunt Edie, the trampoline, the 70 degree weather.....
